Filtration & fertigation
The head unit: where drip systems are won or lost
Most drip failures start with dirty water. A properly sized head unit keeps emitters clean and lets you feed nutrients through the same lines.
- Hydrocyclone (sand separator)
- Removes sand and heavy particles from borewell or canal water before it reaches the screen filter.
- Screen / disc filter
- Catches fine silt and organic matter to protect drippers from clogging; fitted with a drain cock for flushing.
- Venturi injector
- Draws fertiliser or chemical solution into the line for fertigation.
- Ball valves, air valve & gauge
- Isolate, bleed air and monitor pressure across the filters.

Hydroponic & vertical farming pipework
Strawberries, leafy greens and herbs grow in net pots set into PVC & uPVC channels. We supply the pipe, fittings, drip feed and filtration for these systems — the footage shows a working strawberry farm built on Deccan Pipes 110 mm Class-2 pipe.
